About The Investment Committee

The Investment Committee (IC) was formed by its four directors, Michael Furey, Dr. Adam Walk, Chris Humphrey and Dr. Mike Drew, with the aim of educating financial advisers on portfolio construction and management, whilst encouraging the development of a community of like-minded advisers.  

The Investment Committee (IC) is committed to elevating the standards of the financial planning profession. A key initiative is the hosting of annual conferences across Australia, now held on the East Coast (Brisbane), West Coast (Perth), and newly added South Coast (Adelaide), each designed to foster meaningful engagement and professional development.

Attendance is intentionally capped to ensure participants receive maximum value from the experience.

Delegates benefit from presentations delivered by highly credentialed speakers, alongside opportunities to participate in roundtable discussions and interactive Q&A sessions. Each event concludes with networking drinks, offering a relaxed setting for continued conversation and connection.

Importantly, the IC maintains complete independence from investment product providers, ensuring content remains unbiased and focused solely on the needs of financial advisers.
