About The Investment Committee

The Investment Committee (IC) was formed by its four directors, Michael Furey, Dr. Adam Walk, Chris Humphrey and Dr. Mike Drew, with the aim of educating financial advisers on portfolio construction and management, whilst encouraging the development of a community of like-minded advisers.  

The Investment Committee’s goal is to contribute to the professionalisation of the financial planning industry by holding annual conferences on the East (Brisbane) and West (Perth) Coasts.  Conference numbers are capped to ensure attendees get the most “bang for their buck.”

As well as hearing from a number of well credentialed speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in round table discussions and Q&A sessions.  Each conference concludes with networking drinks, providing an opportunity for participants to continue the conversation in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Another reason participants value what the conference has to offer is because The IC has no alignment or affiliation with any investment product provider.
